Avanti's Responsibility To Our Clients

Avanti has been serving Oregon for over 30 years. We, as certified guardians, align with the values of the National Guardianship Association: that every person should be provided respect, due process, rights, and dignity in guardianship and conservatorship.

Our values as fiduciaries and care managers dictate that we only discuss the lives of our clients with individuals authorized to receive that information. Avanti does not disclose whether or not any individual is our client, as that could compromise confidentiality. We prioritize the dignity, privacy and self-determination of all our clients.

Avanti, in our court appointments as guardian and conservator, is charged to comply with the law and the orders made by the Court. We align our actions with court orders, reflect with our attorneys, and are paid only by court order. Our actions are memorialized in public record, and Avanti is committed to accountability and transparency with all appropriate parties, with reference to the best interests of our clients.

Protected people, or those subject to protective proceedings, are vulnerable. To have been judged incapable of managing medical, personal and financial decisions by the court is a private matter, and one that many people may not want public. After long lives of self-determination and often amazing accomplishments, many individuals prefer the challenges of age to remain private. We will always choose to preserve the dignity and self-determination of the people we serve.

If there are questions regarding Avanti’s activity on any case, we direct the public to the Oregon Judicial Department website, where you can search for court records.
